Ali is the host of LAUGH OUT LOUD on CBC Radio & SiriusXM, a show with a listenership of well over a million people.  2022 marked the 6th year that Ali hosted Canada Reads - the annual "battle of the books" competition on CBC Radio and Television.

He is also the frequent guest-host on As It Happens and on q - the premiere national arts & entertainment show that airs on CBC Radio One, NPR and PRX.
